The doctors at Advanced Pediatrics received their training from the best training programs in the United States. Dr. Lavin's training at Harvard and board certification in the specialty of newborn medicine brings an unusually high level of medical expertise to the general practice of pediatrics. Dr. Hertzer’s training at the nation’s capitol also brings an unusually high level of medical expertise to our families.

This helps explain why Advanced Pediatrics has established such mutually respected collaborative relationships with the best pediatric specialists in our region and ready responses from specialists around the country in its work towards providing the best possible medical care for your child.

Advanced Pediatrics maintains its sharp level of expertise by continually reviewing the world’s medical literature. Of course this allows us to be aware on important new developments, and just as importantly, it allows us to constantly re-assess the way we diagnose and treat.

As part of our effort to make sure you are getting the best care medical science can offer at any time, we accept no items or visits from any pharmaceutical company.

Together, our ongoing review of the medical literature and our avoidance of propaganda from the drug companies assures you that our recommendations are based on science, not marketing, and that our recommendations improve as science progresses.

Kili Watson

I have worked in the healthcare field for over 16 years. Initially as a Certified Medical Assistant in Primary Medicine, OB/GYN and Pediatrics. As of the last 8 years, I have found happiness in revenue cycle management. Focusing on insurances, medical billing and working as a Certified Professional Coder, CPC. I love the business end of medicine and I look forward to helping your family thrive in our practice.

When she’s not at work Sam enjoys spending time with her 8 year old son Logan and crocheting.
