Advanced Pediatrics has been creating opportunities for children to explore the world of great music and great books.
We are the first pediatric practice in the country to make the services of Reach Out and Read available to all families regardless of means. For a very nominal fee, children in our Reach Out and Read program will receive a book for no extra charge at every health supervision visit for the first six years of life. Reach Out and Read is the nation's largest reading literacy program and has distributed millions of books to families with young children. The books that we offer in this program are selected from Reach Out and Read's catalogue of outstanding children's literature.
Advanced Pediatrics also operates a book exchange. Please feel free to donate unused children's books and to take books from our donated collection at any visit.
Advanced Pediatrics is collaborating with The Cleveland Orchestra and CHABAM to develop a new program that brings the richness of classical music into your home. This program will offer materials that invite families with children up to age 3 to learn how music helps the mind learn and how to take the first steps in bringing classical music into your home using the music and support of The Cleveland Orchestra. When completed, this will be a first of its kind collaboration in the country.
