Helping families move from conflict to collaboration
by providing families information grounded in experience with how children really operate and what they really need
Insuring the success of the family begins with moving families from conflict to collaboration. In the case of infants, this begins with concerns such as: Sleep, Eating, Discipline, Toilet Training, Sibling Rivalries, and Child Care Dilemmas. These are natural and necessary conflicts but learning to deal with them effectively can sometimes be confusing and overwhelming for even the very best of parents.Who's the Boss? Parenting Education Center makes parenting seminars available to the community on a regular basis, regardless of pediatric office affiliation.
Seminars cover specific topics such as sleep issues, feeding, discipline, toilet training, child care dilemmas, sibling rivalry, living with disability, and knowing if your child is ready for Kindergarten. The center also offers parenting courses that take place once a week for three or six weeks.
Who's the Boss? Parenting Education Center is available to families in the practice for more in-depth consultation to address particular issues in parenting.
For families in their practice, Advanced Pediatrics provides a brief, free consultation with Who's the Boss? Parenting Education Center when a child turns one year old.
